This is the interior of a duplex in a family recreation complex on the banks of the Dnieper. The project was created as part of the environment, not as a separate decorative object. The main idea was to create a calm, restrained space for recovery, in which architecture, interior and landscape work as a single system. The planning logic is built around a sense of openness and connection with nature. A two-light living room with a fireplace becomes the central core of the space, where family life is concentrated. Panoramic windows do not just open up a view of the river – they set the rhythm of the interior, work with light throughout the day and create a feeling of continuous contact with the landscape. The border between the interior and the external environment is deliberately made as thin as possible. The material palette is restrained and natural. Stone, wood, textiles and matte surfaces work for tactility and durability, not for showiness. The colors are reduced to calm, neutral shades so that the space does not compete with the nature outside the window. Light is integrated into the architecture and furniture elements, creating soft lighting scenarios without visual noise.
Furniture and built-in systems were designed as part of the space. They do not emphasize attention, but support the general logic: comfort, simplicity, clear routes of movement and a sense of order. The interior is not overloaded with details – each element has a function and a reason for its existence. The private areas of the duplex are designed as calmly as possible. Bedrooms and bathrooms continue the general concept of restrained minimalism, where the main thing is silence, light and a sense of security. The space does not impose emotions, but allows you to relax, recover and switch from an active rhythm to a slow one. This project is an example of how the interior can be not a decoration, but a tool for life and relaxation. A space that is not tied to trends, is not overloaded with form and remains relevant thanks to logic, materials and a connection with the place.
