This project is about a conscious distribution of space, where functionality determines form. In an apartment of 50 m², a significant part of the space is given over to auxiliary areas: a laundry room, a bathroom and storage systems. This solution allows you to free up the main living space and keep it clean, open and visually light. The living area combines the kitchen and living room into a single space without unnecessary partitions. A compact kitchen unit integrates all the necessary functions, and the island performs several roles at once – a work surface, a dining table and a boundary of the space. All technical and household processes are maximally collected and hidden so as not to create visual noise. Storage systems are integrated into the interior architecture. They do not act as separate elements, but work as part of the planes – walls, niches and furniture blocks. This avoids overloading the space and preserves its integrity.
The bedroom is separated by a transparent glass partition. This solution provides privacy without losing light and depth of space. Visual connections between the zones are preserved, which makes the apartment more spacious than its actual area. Auxiliary rooms – the laundry room and the bathroom – act as a functional core. They accumulate all the processes related to everyday life, freeing the living area from unnecessary objects and usage scenarios. The material palette is restrained and tactile: wood, stone, textiles in neutral shades. It does not overwhelm the attention, but works on the perception of space as a holistic volume. This interior is not about decorativeness. It is about control, order and logic. About a space that works – and that is why it looks calm.
