Showroom and Retail Interior Design | Interior Design Services | CITEK

For showroom and retail space owners

At CITEK, we design retail spaces and showrooms that support your business every day: functional, logical, and built to last. Every project starts with understanding the brand’s goals, retail format, and the specific characteristics of the location. We create spaces that drive sales, structure the product assortment, provide intuitive navigation, and deliver a recognizable brand experience.

For us, retail design is a practical tool meant to solve real business tasks: supporting staff workflows, guiding customer movement, arranging merchandise efficiently, using durable materials, and keeping the budget and implementation process under control. We don’t create concepts for the sake of visuals, we develop thoughtful solutions that are easy to implement and comfortable to operate over time. We’re not chasing decorative renderings; we focus on solutions that actually work in daily use and remain effective long-term.

PROJECT DESIGN STAGES - ACTION ALGORITHM

1

INTRODUCTION

We lay the foundation for creating your future interior

During the initial meeting with our art director, we clarify your goals, expectations, and vision for the future retail space or showroom. At this stage, we also collect key information: the location, area, retail format, existing layout, and any technical constraints of the premises. Based on your input or a completed brief (our tailored questionnaire that captures all essential details for starting the project), we prepare a commercial proposal and draft the contract. Once the contract is signed, we begin the design process.

INTRODUCTION
2

AUDIT OF THE OBJECT

Invest with confidence — evaluate the potential of the space before the project even starts

Before investing in a commercial space, it’s important to understand its real potential. We offer a professional consultation even before the start of the project or before signing a lease or purchase agreement, helping you avoid unexpected challenges and assess the premises from a design and functionality perspective.

During the consultation, we analyze the space in terms of spatial logic: structural characteristics, technical constraints, possibilities for reconfiguration, zoning options, and the overall suitability of the premises for a retail environment or showroom.

You receive a realistic understanding of what solutions are possible in this space, what may require additional approvals or adjustments, and what potential the location holds for future design and long-term use. This allows you to make an informed decision before beginning any work.

AUDIT OF THE OBJECT
3

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

SETTING THE FUNDAMENTAL DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY GUIDELINES

At this stage, we bring together your expectations, brand values, and the specific characteristics of the space. We develop several options for functional zoning of the retail area or showroom, define the stylistic direction, and select materials, key furniture elements, and display equipment.

The result is presented as 3D sketches and visual layouts for each zone, helping you understand the volume, spatial logic, and overall character of the future environment.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
4

VISUALIZATION

From idea to realistic interior

We pass on the detailed concept to a team of visualizers, who transform the design idea into photorealistic images of the future space. These visualizations help you see how the space will look with selected materials, furniture, display equipment, lighting, and color schemes — giving a real sense of the atmosphere and character of the future space. At the same time, we refine all key decisions: selecting finishes, defining shades and textures, planning lighting scenarios, and specifying decorative elements. This ensures a cohesive and harmonious space, ready for the technical development stage.

5

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION

We transform the concept into precise drawings

Based on the approved concept and visualizations, we prepare a complete set of technical drawings for contractors and specialists who will implement your retail space or showroom. This is the stage where the design idea takes precise shapes, dimensions, and proportions.

We carefully develop plans for zoning, furniture and display equipment placement, lighting, electrical and other engineering systems, as well as construction details and finishes. The drawings include all necessary specifications for accurate execution — from wall and opening dimensions to ceiling heights, and the placement of outlets, lighting fixtures, and equipment.

This level of detail allows contractors to faithfully realize the designer’s vision, ensures precise workmanship, and helps prevent misunderstandings during the fit-out of the commercial space.

COMPLETE SET

Materials, furniture, lighting

At this stage, we select all the elements that make your retail space or showroom complete and cohesive. From finishes and furniture to lighting and decorative accents — everything is chosen to highlight the brand’s style and create the desired atmosphere. At the same time, we prepare detailed specifications with exact dimensions, colors, and textures, ensuring that every element can be easily implemented in practice.

AUTHOR'S REVIEW

We supervise construction to ensure that the project is implemented exactly as planned.

We ensure that the implementation of your retail space or showroom aligns with the approved concept and design solutions. We monitor that zoning, electrical outlets, lighting, furniture, and finishes are installed exactly as specified in the project.

We also visit showrooms and suppliers to select materials, furniture, and equipment, and we prepare technical briefs for contractors to ensure all decisions remain coordinated. This is not technical supervision: within the framework of design oversight, we help resolve ongoing issues, make adjustments when necessary, and implement changes without deviating from the concept. Our goal is to bring the space to life exactly as it was envisioned.

Is it possible to work remotely?

Yes, we work remotely and implement projects throughout Ukraine, providing full communication, online consultations, and coordination of all stages without the need for face-to-face meetings.

How does commercial interior design differ from residential?

Commercial interior design is not just about aesthetics, but also about function: how the space affects customer behavior, how sales work, whether it is comfortable for staff, how key areas are located. At CITEK, we take into account business goals, the type of facility, traffic logic, brand and the atmosphere you want to convey.

Do you design interiors for offices or beauty salons?

Yes. We create spaces for work, presentation and service: offices, showrooms, salons, clinics. We take into account both the brand and the specifics of interaction with the client or team. These can be both conceptual offices and spaces with high technical requirements.

What interior design styles do you offer for businesses?

We don’t work with templates – the style is formed according to the target audience, brand and the tasks of the space. It can be modern minimalism, loft, Scandinavian style or mixed aesthetics. The main thing is authenticity and efficiency.

Before investing in space, you need to be sure that you know exactly what you are buying. We offer professional advice even before the start of the project or even before signing the purchase agreement. This is an opportunity to look at the property through the prism of its architectural and living potential.

At citek, a concept is not just a style or visual direction. This stage helps you see the future space before you start spending money. A concept is your confidence in the right direction, a strategy that allows you to make accurate decisions and not spend unnecessarily.

At citek, we create interiors that are not just beautiful — they are honest, functional, and humane. It is an environment that supports you in your daily life: at work, at rest, in motion, in silence. We believe that space influences a person no less than the architecture in which they exist. That is why interior design for us is about meaning, feeling, contact with materials, and life scenarios.

At citek, we create architecture that supports rather than dominates. A house is not just a volume, it is an environment where inner peace is born, where space works for you — not the other way around. We cannot imagine a house in isolation from people, landscape, climate, or lifestyle. Architecture must be honest. That is why our houses are spacious, open, adaptable, and always alive.
