SMILA CHURCH: a project of a modern church by the Cherkasy studio CITEK

Our studio received an order for the design of a cultural building, a modern temple with landscape design in the city of Smila.

This is a story of transformation and new meanings, which can become a precedent for subsequent transformations of the city. When designing a multifunctional space for a Christian church in the center of the small town of Smila, we took into account the active involvement of the church in the social life of the townspeople. Therefore, the building was filled with rooms for various types of events.

The two-story building has a large hall with a stage and a balcony, designed for 400 people. In addition, there are children’s rooms, a conference hall, a youth hall, office premises, a large hall and inclusive bathrooms. The territory of the church is part of the urban space.
